Costa Rica reopens borders to US

On August 19th Costa Rica announced that on September 1st entry will be permitted for tourists from six states. New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Connecticut. Here is what you need to know about the entry requirements.

  1. Passengers must have a current driver’s license from one of the six states.
  2. Tourists must present a negative COVID test from the last 48 hours or less
  3. Tourists must have proof of health insurance that will cover them in Costa Rica for any Covid related expenses. Click here for more specific details
