Safety Protocols Hotel RipJack Inn

We are so excited to slowly begin to welcome you back.  We want to share with you the new safety protocols we have in place to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff.  You can click here for more information about requirements for entry

Hotel Safety Protocols

Outside of hotel reception you will find a foot operated hand sanitizing station.  If you prefer not to use alcohol you can go in the bathroom and wash your hands.  We ask that only one bubble at a time enter reception and appreciate you waiting your turn.  As you can see we have a plexiglass shield at the front desk and all of our employees wear masks.  The credit card machines are facing out, allowing you to enter your own card in the machine.  Hotel keys are disinfected prior to each check in.  We take the temperature of our staff everyday with an IR thermometer and yours will be taken at check in.  Anyone with a fever will be directed to the nearest clinic.

Prior to every check in the hotel rooms are cleaned with an ozone machine that pulls any virus particles out of the air.  At check in you select how often you would like housekeeping if at all.  If maid service is requested, only one maid will enter the room at a time you are not there and will wear mask and gloves.

Restaurant Safety Protocols

At the entrance to the restaurant you will find a foot operated hand sanitizing station.  If you prefer not to use alcohol you can go in the bathroom and wash your hands.  Guests not staying in the hotel have their temperature taken with an IR thermometer.  Our staff is checked daily as well prior to beginning their shift.  The restaurant is still operating at 50% capacity so half of our tables and chairs have been removed.  Masks are worn by the staff but not required for guests because the restaurant is 100% open air.  Tables have been set up six feet apart to adhere to the social distancing guidelines.  Our menus, as always, are on chalkboards.
