Todos los a\u00f1os, a partir de diciembre y generalmente hasta marzo, el viento de Papagayo regresa a la costa del Pac\u00edfico de Costa Rica.<\/p>\n<p>Con estos vientos vienen olas perfectamente acondicionadas y temperaturas del agua m\u00e1s fr\u00edas. Tambi\u00e9n puede esperar las explosiones ocasionales de arena al cuerpo en la playa y la ca\u00edda de ramas de los \u00e1rboles; \u00a1as\u00ed que ten cuidado! Los meses de verano en Costa Rica rivalizan con el clich\u00e9 D\u00eda de la Marmota. <a href=\"https:\/\/ripjackinn.com\/es\/product-guide-the-most-effective-reef-and-environmentally-friendly-sunscreens-for-your-trip-to-playa-grande-costa-rica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Todos los dias son soleados<\/a>, seco y muy ventoso. \u00a1Se han registrado r\u00e1fagas de viento r\u00e9cord a 70 millas por hora!<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfAlguna vez te has preguntado por qu\u00e9? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 es este viento tan predecible y de d\u00f3nde viene?<\/p>\n<p>Sin ser demasiado t\u00e9cnico, aqu\u00ed hay un breve desglose del fen\u00f3meno estacional conocido como el viento de Papagayo. Simplemente pon, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weatherquestions.com\/What_causes_wind.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">el viento es causado<\/a> por aire que fluye de alta presi\u00f3n a \u00e1reas de baja presi\u00f3n. El fuerte viento en alta mar que est\u00e1 experimentando en este momento en realidad se origina en Am\u00e9rica del Norte y fluye a trav\u00e9s del Golfo de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n<p>Hay tres zonas en Am\u00e9rica Central donde estos sistemas de alta presi\u00f3n escapan a \u00e1reas de baja presi\u00f3n. El lago de Nicaragua es una de estas zonas y la que afecta la costa del Pac\u00edfico de Costa Rica.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/oceancolor.gsfc.nasa.gov\/outreach\/ocsciencefocus\/ThePapagayoWind.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">La NASA explica<\/a> esta actividad del viento con bastante precisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn invierno, los sistemas de clima fr\u00edo de alta presi\u00f3n se mueven hacia el sur desde Am\u00e9rica del Norte sobre el Golfo de M\u00e9xico. Estos sistemas de alta presi\u00f3n crean fuertes gradientes de presi\u00f3n entre la atm\u00f3sfera sobre el Golfo de M\u00e9xico y la atm\u00f3sfera m\u00e1s c\u00e1lida y h\u00fameda sobre el Oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico. Al igual que un r\u00edo fluye desde elevaciones altas a elevaciones m\u00e1s bajas, el aire en el sistema de alta presi\u00f3n &quot;fluir\u00e1&quot; cuesta abajo hacia una presi\u00f3n m\u00e1s baja, pero las monta\u00f1as de la Cordillera bloquean el flujo de aire, canaliz\u00e1ndolo a trav\u00e9s del paso de Chivela en M\u00e9xico, el lago de Nicaragua en Nicaragua y el corte Gillard en Panam\u00e1 &quot;.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_897\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-897\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-897 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ripjackinn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/whale.jpg\" alt=\"offshore winds in Playa Grande, Costa Rica \" width=\"1024\" height=\"770\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-897\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Parte de la cadena alimentaria<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Estos vientos constantes y racheados tambi\u00e9n hacen que las aguas superficiales m\u00e1s c\u00e1lidas del oc\u00e9ano se mezclen con las aguas m\u00e1s fr\u00edas y densas en nutrientes que se encuentran un poco m\u00e1s profundas.
