A diferencia de otros deportes donde el campo de juego es constante o predecible, el surf es un deporte con un elemento de infinita sorpresa. No hay dos sesiones iguales. Existen m\u00faltiples factores que influyen en lo que hace que un descanso de surf funcione, incluyendo la direcci\u00f3n, altura y per\u00edodo de marea, viento y oleaje. Luego arroje las corrientes oce\u00e1nicas, la vida marina y otros surfistas y tendr\u00e1 un \u00e1rea de juegos en constante cambio.<\/p>\n

Es este entorno continuamente cambiante lo que hace que el surf sea tan atractivo y dif\u00edcil. Debido a que hay tantos factores, surfear puede ser peligroso si no conoce los peligros semi-evitables. Para la sesi\u00f3n de surf m\u00e1s estimulante y segura, debes estar bien versado en los siguientes componentes que componen el deporte del surf.<\/p>\n

Para el ojo inexperto, las corrientes oce\u00e1nicas, como las corrientes de resaca, son casi invisibles. Es solo cuando te quedas atrapado en una corriente que puedes ver la fuerza subyacente del oc\u00e9ano. Es importante cuando est\u00e9 navegando, especialmente si no est\u00e1 en la mejor forma de surf, prestar atenci\u00f3n y no dejarse atrapar demasiado lejos de la alineaci\u00f3n. Mareas<\/h2>\n

Hay dos mareas altas y dos mareas bajas todos los d\u00edas.<\/a> Las mareas cambiar\u00e1n todos los d\u00edas (generalmente entre 30 y 60 minutos) y el tiempo entre mareas var\u00eda de un lugar a otro, pero generalmente es de aproximadamente cada seis horas. Si bien siempre debes usar protector solar cuando est\u00e9s al sol y en las olas (protector solar amigable para los arrecifes, por supuesto<\/a>), es incre\u00edblemente importante hacerlo en Costa Rica. Costa Rica est\u00e1 a solo 10 grados al norte del ecuador y debido a esta proximidad, el sol es m\u00e1s fuerte aqu\u00ed; sin mencionar la fuerza adicional de la reflexi\u00f3n sobre el oc\u00e9ano. Una malvada quemadura solar puede arruinar tus vacaciones de surf.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, a diferencia de otros deportes donde sudas visiblemente y tienes f\u00e1cil acceso al agua u otros l\u00edquidos hidratantes, cuando est\u00e1s surfeando es mucho m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil medir la deshidrataci\u00f3n. Entre el sol palpitante y el constante movimiento y remar, est\u00e1 perdiendo mucha agua incluso si no se da cuenta.
